”He Mū ‘O Ia”

’He Mū ‘O Ia” is a chant taught to kia‘i and performed frequently on the mauna. Mū means to be silent, and it was one of the kia‘i strategies of nonviolent direct action. A recording of Pua Case teaching this chant can be viewed on YouTube.
